5. Oz the Great and Powerful $11.6M

Is it summer already? Because with G.I. Joe: Retaliation taking the #1 spot it feels like summer blockbusters are here. With just north of $41mill, it's not exactly Batman, now is it?

3. Oz the Great and Powerful $22M
4. The Call $8.7M
5. Admission $6.45M

Finally a kids movie came out swinging. THE CROODS easily took the #1 spot over the weekend. I guess children have been waiting for somehting, ANYTHING worth watching. I dunno, it looked silly to me, but kids like silly. The new 300 guy movie, Olympus Has Fallen took in a bit over $30 mill. OZ appears to be on the decline now.

2. The Call $17.1M
3. The Incredible Burt Wonderstone $10.3M
4. Jack the Giant Slayer $6.22M
5. Identity Thief $4.52M

In it's second week of release, Oz the Great and Powerful, took the spot as the year's biggest earner while easily keeping the #1 spot. The new Steve Carrell movie, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone tanked with barely $10 mill. At what point will Hollywood realize that this guy is NOT a box office draw?
