In this brief video, graphic designer Seb Lester demonstrates a form of Medieval blackletter typography that was used commonly in Europe from 1150 through the 17th century. Every stroke of his pen is a masterpiece.  It makes me wonder how they ever managed to get anything longer than a grocery list down on paper.
