Seedlings Started! @ Automotive World

I'm running out of room!!  :-)  This is the best I have ever done at starting seedlings. I have a reminder set on my phone to remind me to water them, that helps.  Now I just need more windows..  In March I started several kinds of peppers and tomatoes.  I did not mark the cups, which is really not very smart.  I was using up the last of some seed packs that I have had for a few years, I wasn't really sure what all would come up. I know there are some German strawberry tomatoes, purple Cherokee, zebra , and Big Boy, and probably a couple of others.  In Peppers I have chocolate ones (they are purple - I grow everything I can find in purple!) sweet peppers in green, red, and yellow..  and maybe some hot peppers, but I really can't remember.  I'm not going to worry about it..  I'll figure out what everything is.

I have purple and green basil growing too.

This week my daughter and I started a bunch of flowers for the flower garden we hope to have this year. Most could have been planted directly outdoors, but that just does not work as well for me.  I end up pulling them along with the weeds.  By starting them inside, I will remember where i put them!  :-)

This is one of the ones we are most excited about - P. Carneum Poppy. Isn't it pretty?
We also started:
Asters, Zinnias, Persian Carpet Zinnias, strawflowers, Italian Broccoli (not a flower, but it is going in the flower bed - it's pretty!) and an old fashioned mix.  Last year I devoted a section of the upper garden to flowers, and once we saw that the new fence works and the goats stayed contained, I decided to turn that entire upper garden into a flower bed.  We are really looking forward to having lots of cut flowers this year!
