End of the World Giveaway Hop

End of the World Giveaway Hop
December 14th to 21st
Hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer
& My Life With Books

12/21/12
The Mayan Calendar Ends!
Does it mean the end of the World?
Probably not but just in case...

Which books would you save if the world was coming to an end?

This hop features books we are passionate about or would keep if we were forced to flee due to imminent destruction or books about the end of the world.

Assuming the worlds is still spinning the winner of each giveaway will have a new book just in time to start off the new year right!

So what to giveaway?
The book I would most definitely save is The Book of Mormon but any and every one can get a free copy of that book anytime so...

I've decided to go with a couple of my favorite books.  Books I love to escape into and would love to have time to sit down and reread.

Yes you've seen this book on my blog A LOT this year.  It's because I love it and want to share it with everyone.

The Reluctant Bachelorette by Rachael Anderson

Unknowingly cast as the bachelorette for her town’s charity event, Taycee Emerson wants out. Especially when she discovers her old teenage crush, Luke Carney, is one of the bachelors and it's up to the viewers--not her--to decide which bachelors stay or go.
Coerced into participating, Taycee does what any self-preserving girl would do. She launches a subtle attack on Luke’s good name with the hope of getting him voted off the show. Unfortunately, Luke's an eye-for-an-eye kind of guy, and when he discovers what she's up to, it means revenge.
But when their pranks go south, will they screw up any chance they have at a future together, or will they be able to forgive and forget and prove that love really does conquer all?

And here is another one you see A LOT on my blog too.  An Old-Fashioned Romance by Marcia Lynn McClure.  This was the first book by Marcia I read and I still adore it.

An Old-Fashioned Romance by Marcia Lynn McClure
Breck had always struggled with finding contentment in city life. She remembered visiting her uncle’s ranch as a child—the way she had always felt free—as if she could breathe better when away from the city. Breck figured she was that one child in every family who should have been born in a different era—but she hadn’t been. Thus, Breck had finished her degree at Colorado State and settled into a big city job at Wilson Investigations.Still, there were moments of happiness found in city life—instances of excitement and delight. Whenever Breck found herself in the presence of her handsome, yet seemingly haunted boss, Reese Thatcher—she often new moments of pure euphoria! But fact was fact, and though no other man was the zinger her soul longed for, Reese Thatcher was a man a woman simply dreamed of winning—not one a woman actually won. Wasn’t he?

Both of these are "keepers".
